BASS KULTURE — A MANIFESTO: Bass Kulture is a live electronic performance project and movement or scene that fuses industrial, techno, EBM, dub, drum & bass, post-punk, dub-step, bass music, dance-punk (ie whatever we like) with real-time musicianship, turning electronic production into something living, physical, dangerous, and human again. In Bass Kulture, bass is not an accessory — it is the engine. We reject the idea that electronic music must be static, pre-programmed, or locked to playback or formulaic. We build tracks live, in the room, with hands on instruments and machines, shaping sound live. This is post-mod club music not nostalgia. Bass Kulture stands where: dub meets distortion techno meets punk club culture meets performance art. It is for: clubs * underground stages fashion shows * film & visual art * festivals and art events.
